Christmas church services in the Whitsundays

CHURCHES throughout the Whitsundays will be hosting services over the Christmas period.

All churches are welcoming families and their friends to come together at church in the spirit of Christmas.

There will also be an ecumenical Christmas carols held this Sunday (December 22) at St Martin's Church, St Martins Lane in Cannonvale from 6.30pm.

Churches in Cannonvale, Proserpine and Hamilton Island will all have extra services in the lead up to Christmas Day.

Listed below are all the Christmas services to be held in the Whitsundays over the festive period.

HAMILTON ISLAND SERVICES

Tuesday, December 24 for midnight mass from 11pm at All Saints Chapel

Wednesday, December 25 for family service from 5pm at All Saints Chapel and an ecumenical communion service from 7pm

Thursday, December 26 ecumenical communion service from 9am at All Saints Chapel

MAINLAND SERVICES

 

ANGLICAN

Tuesday, December 24 - Christmas service from 6pm at St Martin's Church in Cannonvale

Lessons and Christmas carols from 7.30pm at St Paul's in Proserpine

Midnight mass at 11.30pm at St Paul's Church

Wednesday, December 25 - Mass from 8am at St Paul's in Proserpine

 

WHITSUNDAY BAPTIST CHURCH

Wednesday, December 25 - 9am at St Martin's Chapel in Cannonvale

Sunday morning service - 9.30am at Whitsunday PCYC in Jubilee Pocket

 

CHRISTIAN OUTREACH CENTRE

Sunday morning service at 9.30am - Proserpine

 

CATHOLIC

Tuesday, December 24 - 6pm at St Catherine's in Proserpine and 8.30pm at St Martin's in Cannonvale

Wednesday, December 25 - 8am at St Catherine's in Proserpine and 10.30am in Dingo Beach

 

UNITING CHURCH

Wednesday, December 25 - 8am for Christmas morning service at St James in Proserpine

 

CORNERSTONE CHURCH WHITSUNDAY
