Club med looks for investors
Club Med is looking for property investors for its resort on Lindeman Island.
General Manager for Club Med Australia and New Zealand, Heidi Kunkel, has confirmed that there have been discussions with property investors.
“We are looking for partners,” she said.
Ms Kunkel said 2009 was not ideal for property investors.
She described the resort as an exceptional destination for families.
Ms Kunkel said 65 per cent of the Club Med market was now families and that in the past, it was better known for singles.
Club Med has 80 resorts worldwide.
The resort on Lindeman Island was opened in 1992 and is the only one in Australia.
