Two air-lifted
A 19-YEAR-OLD Tasmanian woman had to be air-lifted from Hamilton Island by RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter on Tuesday after crashing a go kart into a tyre barricade on the island.
The woman was suffering from a neck complaint and was airlifted to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Earlier in the day a 50-year-old staff member suffering chest pain. was also airlifted from Hamilton Island to Mackay in a stable condition.
