A WOMAN convicted of her seventh drink driving charge in 12 years was told she was on her last chance in Proserpine Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Robyn June Brunger was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and disqualified from driving for 18 months after pleading guilty to driving with a BAC of 0.165 per cent and driving without a licence.
Brunger was intercepted by police driving on the Bruce Highway, Bloomsbury about 4.40pm on January 13.
When asked to produce her licence, Brunger told police she didn’t have one and checks revealed she had never held a Queensland licence and had last held a licence of any kind (West Australia) in 1989.
In sentencing Brunger, Magistrate Athol Kennedy said Brunger was putting “every person on the road in danger”.
“If you come before this court again for any driving offence, you’ll go to prison,” Mr Kennedy said.
