Oscar Pistorius not home free yet as appeal launched
ONLY days from his scheduled switch from prison to luxurious house arrest, Oscar Pistorius has learnt he is not home free yet.
Having failed to gain a murder conviction against the South African Paralympian, prosecutors have announced an appeal.
Pistorius has served 10 months of a five-year sentence for the shooting death of his girlfriend Riva Steenkamp on February 14, 2013.
He was convicted of culpable homicide, the equivalent of manslaughter.
