A classical night in Cannonvale

CLASSICAL music will make its way to the Whitsundays all the way from Germany this week and audiences are in for a treat.

The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne is performing a special concert at St Martin's church, Cannonvale for one night only.

The Chamber's Jens Kehling said it would be an evening to remember.

"We promise you an excellent concert evening," he said.

"Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience one of Germany's finest ensembles.

"We are very happy to propose you a diverse program ranging from Antonio Vivaldi to G.F. Handel, W.A. Mozart, J.S. Bach and Peter Tchaikovsky."

Chamber Philharmonia Cologne performs around 300 concerts a year all around the world and their objective is to spread the love for classical music.

The show itself features a classical ensemble but the night also gives each artist a chance to shine as a soloist.

Their musical selections feature a range of popular works from the likes of Mozart and Vivaldi but also with a mix from unknown artists.

Tickets are available now and will be available at the door on the night.

Don't miss their only show in the Whitsundays.
