A wash can make a world of difference

A SMALL local wildlife rescue and carer group Fauna Rescue desperately needs to find some caring and responsible people to save our beautiful creatures.

Not to mention, the not-for profit group is also struggling financially.

This Sunday they will raise awareness and funds with a car wash and sausage sizzle at Regatta Waters from 9am.

Golf lovers are in for a treat with a professional golf player available at the driving range for a golf talk for an additional $5.

"They [animals] have no one in the world except us to be kind and help them," member Barb Adamson said.

One big cost for the group is its 24/7 telephone hotline which is available to the public to phone and report injured and orphaned animals.

Fauna Rescue is also on the look out for car wash helpers this Sunday.

You can phone 4946 6400 or 4947 3389 to help.
