Abduction hunt continues

GYMPIE Police are still hunting for a man who grabbed a Gympie boy, 12, and tried to force him into a car last Thursday.

The boy was not physically injured in the altercation which took place on the corner of Cartwright Rd and Glen Eden Rd about 6pm while the child was riding home on a scooter.

Police say a car load of people pulled up near the boy in a blue sedan, the driver got out and asked the boy to get in before grabbing him by the hair and attempting to pull him into the car.

The man aged between 20 and 30 is about 190cm tall with a muscular build and has tattoos down his right arm.
