All players welcome at sign-on this Saturday

WHITSUNDAY FC

THE Whitsunday Football Club (WFC) will hold their senior sign-on this Saturday at the Whitsunday Sports Park from 4.30-6pm.

Male and female players aged 14 and over are encouraged to come down to the sports park to register their interest and meet with team-mates ahead of the upcoming season.

"We intend nominating a ladies team and two men's teams again into the Mackay Regional Football Zone and we are looking for players of any skill level to join our ranks," WFC representative Annette Tween said.

"We have a fantastic group of people within our club and the social side of things is just as much fun as the 'playing games' side of things."

Players from last year have been holding weekly light training sessions on Thursday nights at 5pm at the sports park and all are welcome to come along for a kick around ahead of the start of the season proper.

Official training will commence shortly and information is available by visiting the Whitsunday Football Club Facebook page.

The clubs is also looking for coaches and referees for the 2013 season and are after people with good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
