Almost time to Wiggle

IT'S almost time for the Big Red Car to pull into Proserpine.

That's right folks, The Wiggles are on their way to our little corner of the country.

So far tickets have been selling like Hot Potatoes with the show being booked out in just over a week after bookings opened in early March.

With a second show now on the cards due to high demand, it too is on the brink of selling out with only 50 seats left.

Proserpine Entertainment Centre owner Chris Patrick said he was over the moon to welcome The Wiggles back to Proserpine.

"We're very excited that they're coming," Mr Patrick said.

"This is another international act that's stopping in Proserpine.

"They'll put on a great show and it'll be a great time for everyone."

With their show falling on the first day of the school holidays, what better way to keep the kids entertained than watching The Wiggles?

And of course, who could forget Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus?

"It's a great way to start the school holidays," Mr Patrick said.

"We've got a very comprehensive program of movies, shows and live performances for children of all ages running through the school holidays."

Patrons are asked to be at the entertainment centre 40 minutes before the show.
