Amazing line-up of festival acts
MULTI-GRAMMY award winner Wally de Backer, otherwise known as Gotye, will be performing at the 2014 Whitsunday Reef Festival, on Saturday, August 2.
De Backer will be performing with The Basics, who he has been playing with for over a decade. The Basics will be playing live at the Saturday night main street party, which is a free of charge community event. Festival favourites The Twine and Sun Salute will also be performing on the night.
These acts are all part of a massive line-up for this year's Reef Festival, presented by True Blue Sailing.
With live music on the Beach Music stage on both Friday and Saturday night, thousands of revellers are expected to be dancing in the Airlie Beach main street at what is sure to be one of the biggest street parties in the north.
The festival opens on Friday, August 1, with the opening night to include the amazing Porters Fireworks display on the Airlie foreshore, followed by a huge line-up of hot Aussie acts including The Collective and Nathaniel.
