Another head on collision at notorious intersection

THE dangerous intersection of Shute Harbour and Gregory-Cannonvalley Roads was the site of yet another crash about 10.30 this morning.

A camper containing two women in their 20s collided with a ute being driven by a man in his 30s.

Police and Queensland Ambulance Service teams attend the scene and one man was transported to Proserpine Hospital with a suspected shoulder injury.

John Pierre Cavacas was one of the first on the scene and was busy directing traffic through the intersection.

He said he said the two vehicles hit head on and the camper spun the "right around".

This is the second crash at this intersection in as many weeks.
