Brahmans are keen on upset
THE Whitsunday Brahmans will head into this Sunday's game against the undefeated Brothers keen to cause the biggest upset of the Mackay rugby league season. Coach Wayne Temby said the week off has allowed a couple of players to return from injury. He said captain Jimmy Webb is a possibility to come back, while the skillful Dan Kennedy will make his first appearance of the year along with Carl Telford. Temby said it was a huge boost to have those players come back from injury. Last time the teams met, Brahmans pushed the Brethren for the majority of the game before losing a player to the sin bin and four others to injury, and Temby said if they can play a good away game they could push Brothers to their first defeat. The Brahmans trained on Wednesday night, before watching the State of Origin and will follow that up with a Thursday session.
