Arrest in Bundamba after discovery of improvised explosives
POLICE have taken a Bundamba man into custody after a search of his home allegedly uncovered two improvised explosives.
Crews responded to reports of a domestic dispute at a house in Harold St, Bundamba about 9am.
The man was taken into custody a short time later, with a subsequent search allegedly unveiling the two devices, which police say are made of crushed up sparklers, screws and tape, with a fuse attached.
The police Explosives Ordnance Response Team was called to the house after the discovery was made.
Investigations are continuing.
