Aussie Latin star is back

SO GOOD she had to come back for more, national mover and shaker Pascale "Salsette" Dernocoure has returned to Airlie Beach to share her love of salsa.

Her trip comes off the back of the Whitsunday Latin Festival held on Daydream Island in May this year.

Considered the most sensual style of dance in the world, Latin dancing has something for everyone and Pascale offers the perfect opportunity to either learn a new skill or brush up on your technique.

It all begins with tonight's workshop, a Level 1 intensive foundation from 7.30-9.30pm at Fitness Venue's "old church" in Cannonvale.

Then catch her at Friday night's Latin class at Barcelona Tapas Bar and Cafe at Abell Point Marina, even join the Salsette for a social dance from 8.30pm to late.

On Saturday there'll be a general Latin workshop opened to everybody and anybody from 10am-2pm followed by a party that night from 7pm.

Sunday's a Level 2 intensive foundation for the Latin lovers who really want to push their boundaries from 4-6pm at the "old church".

And then catch another Level 2 workshop on Monday from 7.30-9.30pm before she flies out to her southern home.

Airlie Latin Madness is offering a special price on all the workshops for only $110 (excluding the Friday night).

Pascale "Salsette" Dernocoure was the star of this year's Whitsunday Latin Festival.

"It's a real social dance and one of the most partner-focused dances ever - that's why I love it and anyone can do it," she said. For costs on the workshops visit www.airlie
