Aussie stars talk women in film and TV at Hamo Race Week
AUDI Hamilton Island Race Week is about much more than just on water action.
Today, a who's who Australian film and television will share their views on the industry's gender imbalance.
The event is the first of an "In Conversation series" to be hosted by Audi, featuring a star-studded panel made up of local and international-based Australian talent.
Leading the conversation will be Audi ambassador and award winning actress, Asher Keddie, along with her Offspring director, Imogen Banks.
Sarah Snook, known for her standout roles in The Dressmaker and The Beautiful Lie has also confirmed her attendance, as has LA-based producer, Bruna Papandrea, widely celebrated for producing Hollywood blockbusters Gone Girl and Wild, alongside business partner Reese Witherspoon.
Joining the line up will be The Mentalist star Simon Baker, Richard Roxburgh of Rake fame, Melbourne-based painter Vincent Fanatizzo, Today host Lisa Wilkinson and Sydney Morning Herald entertainment writer Garry Maddox.
Forty-four VIP and media guests will be invited to witness and join in a star-studded panel discussion over an elegant lunch.
The event is set to kick off from 12.30pm at the Hamilton Island Golf Club on Dent Island.
