Bacon Busters and Bull Ride supported by Whitsunday Council

WHITSUNDAY Regional Council will provide $500 in support to the Collinsville Bacon Busters and Bull Ride Competition being held in August.

Mayor Jenny Whitney said Collinsville Bacon Busters Competition was a family fun day, which included pig hunting, that last year attracted more than 200 competitors.

"Bacon Busters is a great local event for Collinsville. In addition to the pig hunt, there will be fun filled activities for the whole family," she said.

"This is the second year in a row council has provided $500 in support to the Collinsville State High School P&C Association for the Bacon Busters event.

"The day will be action-packed with entertainment and food and loads of events including an exhilarating bull ride, children's races, a dog jump, ute comp and iron man events."
