Bag a bargain at museum’s Book Bonanza

THOUSANDS of books on all kinds of interests will be on offer at Proserpine Museum at a beloved event that has been running for more than two decades.

The Book Bonanza will run from Saturday, October 24, to Saturday, October 31, with lots of trash and treasure items on offer.

Proserpine Museum registrar Ailsa Reinke said the event was in its 24th year and had previously been postponed because of coronavirus but was now going ahead.

"There will be thousands of preloved books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and trash and treasure, all at low prices," she said.

"Patrons are to please bring own bags and rules for prevention of COVID will be followed."

The Proserpine Museum will also be open for viewing while the bonanza is running.

Check out the Book Bonanza from October 24 to 30 from 9am to 4pm, and Saturday, October 31, from 9am to noon.
