Beloved sports club destroyed in massive blaze

POLICE have commenced an arson investigation following a major fire which destroyed a council building at Millmerran last night.

About 8.50pm police were called to the Kent St premises where the building was engulfed in flames.

No one was inside the premises when emergency crews arrived.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious and investigations are continuing.
