Fraser Coast gears up for New Year's Eve celebrations

IT IS a case of where to begin when celebrating New Year's Eve at the Beach House Hotel's party.

Party Central DJ will own the main bar, keeping the free-entry party rocking, while the Scarborough Room will come to life for the $25 Black and Bling Party that includes celebratory champagne at midnight.

Entertainment for the Black and Bling Party is provided by Frank Benn, a soloist who mixes the soulful rhythm of the sea in his music to create music that is unique, passionate and moving, making every lyric come to life.

Described as a great party band, Red Betty will also be playing plenty of 70s to 90s music at the party, plus bringing all the classics that continue to give them local acclaim. As per tradition, the night will be finished off with huge fireworks from the Scarness Pier at midnight.

The Beach House Hotel manager, Paul Robins, said this was set to be one of the biggest events of the year, especially with the midnight fireworks.

"It just wouldn't be New Year's without fireworks and I have made sure these will be nothing short of massive," he said.

"There is such a great mix that there is really something for everyone, with the free party downstairs including a huge light show and plenty of action, while upstairs Frank Benn starts the night out well and Red Betty are without a doubt one of the best party bands in the Bay, so that is a show not to be missed."

The Bryan Adams Experience, the Bon Jovi Tribute Show and Chrome Dragon will all perform in what is sure to be a night of fun and entertainment. The show will start at 8.30pm and tickets will cost $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
