Big4 Adventure Whitsunday a winner

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday is thrilled to be listed number three in Queensland in the 2012 Top 10 Australian Holiday Parks for families in the "holidays with kids" reader survey awards. The travel magazine has a readership of more than 600,000 and runs a comprehensive family travel award system surveying thousands of readers annually.

Co-owner of the BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday resort in Airlie Beach Greg McKinnon said the award was absolute confirmation that the staff, service and the resort were delighting guests every day and on every level.

"We are all so passionate about delivering an excellent product and it is very rewarding for the whole team to be acknowledged by this comprehensive reader's choice award," he said.

The McKinnon family have owned the resort since 1993.

Located in Airlie Beach and winner of a 2011 Queensland tourism awards and consecutive winner of Whitsunday tourism awards, BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday believes the qualities that make them special include delivering superior customer service, maintaining a focus on guests, paying attention to the little things and supporting and empowering their staff.
