BIG4 Whitsunday takes top industry honours
IT'S official - BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is one of Australia's very best caravan and holiday parks.
The Airlie Beach resort's owners were among six Queensland tourism operators honoured as part of the Australian tourism industry's highest recognition program, receiving silver and bronze accolades at the 2015 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards (QATA) held in Melbourne tonight.
BIG 4 Adventure Whitsunday and the other Queensland finalists had each received gold in November last year in their respective categories at the 2015 Queensland Tourism Awards.
BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort was the only Whitsunday tour operator to make it to the national finals.
The Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry's peak awards where 26 category winners are chosen from nearly 200 State and Territory finalists.
BIG 4 Adventure Whitsunday owners Greg and Naomi McKinnon were in Melbourne to accept this prestigious award on behalf of their whole team.
