THE dwarves are back for the fourth and final instalment of Markus Heitz's epic saga.

There has been no word from the courageous warrior Tungdil since the bitter struggle that took place at the Black Abyss.

It seems the dwarves are facing their next battle with very little hope of survival.

But then the inexplicable happens - a dwarf warrior dressed in black armour returns from the abyss with a formidable army in tow.

This warrior calls himself Tungdil, and for his most loyal friend Ireheart and his allies, this means a new hope.

But soon doubts begin arise . . . Could this really be Tungdil the dwarf, or is this warrior following his own dark agenda?

If you're a fan of the series you're in for a treat.

I thought the book showed a darker side to the story and I couldn't put it down.

It was great to see a proper ending to the series, not like the end of the last book.

Overall it is a good read and a must for fans of the series.
