OPENING DAY

Ivori 3pm

Ivori are a psychedelic soul band from the Gold Coast and were the winners of the Battle of the Bands last year.

Bill Chambers 3.45pm

Father of acclaimed country singer Kasey Chambers, Bill will hit the Airlie Beach Festival of Music stage with his soulful style of road music country.

James T (Canned Heat) 4.30pm

Canned Heat was one of the headline acts at Woodstock and James T was part of the band for 10 years. He is still going strong, singing Canned Heat songs and the blues. His manager contacted me and said he was going to be in the country and asked if he could be part of the festival this year.

Electik Lemonade 5.15pm

Electrik Lemonade are a six-piece funky, hip hop act and are an awesome dance band that get the whole crowd bobbing. They were up here for the Reef Festival and have been to the festival for the last three years in a row. They are one of the crowd's favourite bands, everyone loves them.

Chain 6pm

Chain are one of Australia's oldest and best blues bands. They have been around since the 70s. Any blues fan will know Chain and be hanging out to see them.

Russell Morris 7.30pm

Russell Morris sang the song called The Real Thing and has had a string of hits. He is one of Australia's best singer/songwriters and has been for the last 40 years.

Richie Ramone (The Ramones) 8.45pm

Richie was in the Ramones for 10 years and is the cousin of founding member and front man Joey Ramone. Before Joey died he said the best thing that ever happened to the Ramones was Richie joining the band.

DAY 2

Phil Emmanuel and The Continental Drift 3pm

Phil is one of Australia's best lead guitarists and a living legend. He has jammed with nearly every band in Australia and is a really nice guy. It is amazing to watch him play the guitar.

Tiki Taane 3.45pm

Tiki was in the classic New Zealand band Salmonella Dub and has been performing solo for the past five years. He did that song called Always on My Mind which was a huge hit.

Bourbon Street 4.30pm

Bourbon Street are from Byron Bay and have been together forever. They do 70s-style covers and are a very high-energy act and have won plenty of awards.

Gang Gajang 5.15pm

Gang Gajang are classic Australian rockers and the singer used to be in the band called the Riptides and they have members that were in the Angels too. They did that classic song called This is Australia.

Mason Rack Band 6pm

Mason Rack is probably one of Australia's top blues acts at the moment. Not only blues, he is a showman and puts on such a great stage show. They play the kegs with drumsticks and get the whole crowd involved. He is our No.1 favourite act at the festival, everyone loves him.

Potbellees 7.30pm

Everyone will know their song Don't Hold Back from the Jeep ad on TV. I threw them in because a few of the younger crowd around Airlie Beach were giving me a bit of a hard time that there was nothing for them. I put the Potbelleez in to keep the 30-something crowd happy.

Tim Finn 8.45pm

What can I say about Tim Finn? He is up there with the greatest artists in the world. It's a pleasure to have someone of his calibre in Australia and especially in Airlie Beach.

DAY 3

Chad Morgan 12pm

Chad is 83 years old and is a comedian. He's like Slim Dusty in that he is one of Australia's most-loved country artists. Anyone that has ever seen Chad Morgan knows you leave the show laughing, it's just good, fun country stuff.

Hillbilly Goats 12.45pm

Hillbilly Goats sing Celtic/folk and have won the Cairns Timeout Best NQ Band Award. They have been an act at the festival since the beginning in 2013.

8 Ball Aitken 1.30pm

8 Ball's girlfriend is from Airlie Beach now so he is calling Airlie Beach home. 8 Ball plays country, blues, swamp and Americana music and will be an asset to the festival this year.

Rav Thomas Band 2.15pm

Rav is a solo singer/songwriter from Tasmania. He has done shows with Jimmy Barnes and Mental as Anything.

Sandi Thom 3pm

Sandi is one of our biggest stars. She has sold 30 million records. She is from Scotland and her only Australian show will be at the festival, and that's gold. We booked her last year and she got pregnant and she couldn't fly. She felt bad and said she wanted to do the festival this year.

Troy Cassar-Daley 4.15pm

Troy does classic country songs and has won a stack of awards at the Tamworth Country Music Awards. He has been around for 20 years and began performing when he was just a kid.

Daryl Braithwaite 5.30pm

Daryl was in Sherbet, they had a string of hits and then he has been solo for the last 20 years or so. He still plays all his classics and we are very proud to have him in Airlie Beach this year.
