IN celebration of all that is good about our region, the Mary Valley Heritage Railway and Polleys Coaches have combined their services to give Muster campers a unique opportunity this Saturday.

For the first time, Muster campers can board the historic steam train at Amamoor Station and head into Gympie for the free Pre-Muster Day festivities.

Then there is the option to board a Polleys bus bound for the Muster Cup and back by bus to the railway station in time to catch the historic Red Rocket back to Amamoor.

Take a self-guided tour of the historic buildings and enjoy a lunch at one of the historic pubs before the Valley Rattler returns to Amamoor. Or choose your own adventure from the tour options available below and book your seats on 1800 444 222:

Depart the Muster site on bus at 8.30am to arrive in Gympie at 9.30am. Spend time wandering through Mary Street as the party gets into full swing before boarding the bus at 1.15pm to the Mary Valley Heritage Railway for a trip back to Amamoor on the Valley Rattler. A bus will transfer passengers back to their campsites (tickets $38).

Depart the Muster site on bus at 10.30am bound for the Amamoor Station where passengers board for Gympie to arrive at 12.15pm. A bus will transfer passengers to the racecourse for an afternoon out at the Muster Cup race day. Depart racecourse at 5pm to return to Muster site (tickets $38) or at 6.30pm for the railway station where the Red Rocket will return passengers to Amamoor for a waiting bus to the Muster site (tickets $43).

Depart Muster site at 8.30am on bus bound for Pre Muster Day in Gympie. Transfer by bus to racecourse for the Cup at 12.40pm and leave at 5pm by bus to return to campsites (tickets $25).

Or depart at 6.30pm by bus and transfer to the Red Rocket bound for Amamoor where a waiting bus will take passengers back to the Muster site.
