Car crashes into pharmacy at Northpoint shopping centre
SHOPPERS at Northpoint Shopping Centre were given an unusual sight when a car rammed through the glass doors of a retail outlet yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Ruthven St complex about 1pm with reports a car had become embedded in the front door and window of Priceline Pharmacy.
A Toyota Camry had run through a concrete parking block before running into and knocking over a steel bollard.
The bollard was wedged under the front driver side tyre of the vehicle which rested beside the smashed remains of a glass door.

The front passenger side of the vehicle was inside the shop.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service Kitchener St station officer Rob Andrews said no-one was injured in the incident.
Fire crews remained at the scene until a tow truck cleared the vehicle.
Investigations into the cause of the incident are continuing.
