Beware of nesting birds

IF YOU plan on taking a trip out on the water take care around the Islands as this is the time of year that seabirds and turtles are heading back to their breeding grounds. Increased wildlife activity means that limited access and reduced vessel speeds around significant bird sites apply from now until March 31. These sites include Armit, Little Armit, Double Cone, Grassy, Shaw and South Repulse Islands.
