Catch the last of Race Week

THERE are only two nights left to get in on the free entertainment of the 2015 Airlie Beach Race Week.

Tonight 4 String Phil will get you ready for the weekend at the Whitsunday Sailing Club with his modified four-string acoustic and electric guitars from 5-8pm.

Not your average Blues Brother, 4 String Phil describes his sound as "stomp rock".

"It's bluesy, but I don't fit the traditional blues mould, I play rock, but I'm not a rock guitarist and I sing, but I'm certainly no opera singer," he said.

After years of performing at venues and festivals around Tasmania, with a highlight of supporting Lee Kernaghan, he decided to pack up the ute and head to the mainland Australia to introduce his style to the rest of nation.

Tomorrow night is a presentation and the official farewell party.

There will be live music from Gypsy Soul with their full rhythm line-up from 5pm 'til late. These guys have one goal and one goal only - to rock your gypsy soul.

After wandering the earth for more than a decade, one part of Gypsy Soul stopped in a sleepy town called Mackay.

There she found "him", full of soul and music was abundant.

"He" shredded on the guitar with melodic riffs and rhythmic beats, while "she" sang with all her heart and soul.

They joined together and with two acoustic guitars, two vocals and one percussion - Gypsy Soul was born.

There's also happy hour ashore at Barcelona Tapas Bar and Cafe in Abell Point Marina from 3.30-4.30pm daily.
