Chrissie is now one frock short

CHRISSIE Swan thought she had snagged the perfect dress a week before she shocked the television world – and herself – with three Logie nominations.

“Before all this amazing stuff happened, I got this dress half price thorough this American online store. I thought it would do,” the co-presenter of Network Ten’s The Circle said yesterday.

However, she was quickly advised that when it came to the Logies, someone else would do the shopping for her.

“I’ll leave it up to the professionals,” she said.

Chrissie will only be three months away from giving birth to her second child when the Logies are announced on May 1, but she won’t be wearing a tent.

While she put on 48 kilograms during her first pregnancy, so far she has only put on an extra “two to three kilograms”.

“I’m doing really good. At 22 weeks I’ve only put on two or three kilograms compared to my last pregnancy, when at this stage I’d been nudging up to 25 kilograms already,” she said.

Chrissie’s bet is on Packed to the Rafters star Rebecca Gibney for the Gold Logie.

“I think Rebecca Gibney will get it again, she’s an amazing, brilliant actress.

“Adam Hills is also due for it. It’s the fourth or fifth time he’s been nominated.”

The fairytale has just kept gaining momentum for the former Sunshine Coast breakfast radio host, who first hit the spotlight as the first female Big Brother runner-up.

But she was as surprised as anyone else to be nominated for three Logies. “I know, it’s crazy,” she said. “We’re just a tiny little show, but we all love it.”
