Concerns for missing man's welfare due to cold conditions

POLICE are assisting New South Wales emergency services in a search for a man missing on a rural property.

Officers from Stanthorpe have been tasked to a rural property in the Maryland district, just south of the Queensland border in NSW.

The man was reported missing about 5.10pm.

State Emergency Service crews are assisting police.

There are concerns for his welfare due to the freezing temperatures expected overnight.
