THE Whisper Bay boat ramp and breakwater construction is expected to commence in August, Whitsunday Regional Council mayor Jenny Whitney said.
She reiterated that commencement of the project is subject to receipt of the $3 million funding pledged by the State Government in the forthcoming in the 2015/16 State Budget.
"The Whisper Bay boat ramp and breakwater project has been a long time in the making and we are excited to be able to deliver this important public facility to our passionate boating community," Mayor Whitney said.
