Council wants your feedback on their cycle strategy

WHITSUNDAY Regional Council is developing a local cycle strategy, and is inviting community feedback regarding the suitability and use of existing cycle networks and the location of future cycle paths.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Barry Omundson said the strategy will guide the delivery of cycle projects in the Whitsunday region.

"Council is committed to the delivery of cycle infrastructure which will benefit the community, both now and into the future," Mr Omundson said.

"I encourage local cyclists and residents with an interest in cycle infrastructure to view the plans of the proposed cycle network and provide feedback to Council," he said.

Plans detailing the existing and proposed cycle network can be viewed at any of Council's customer service centres or online at www.whitsundayrc.qld.gov.au.
