UPDATE 3pm:

LATE this afternoon the three accused were granted bail and ordered to reappear before Gladstone Magistrates Court on June 10 for a hearing of their animal cruelty charges.

All three have pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Magistrate Jeffrey Clarke told them the case would go ahead regardless of whether they had legal representation or not.

UPDATE 12pm:

THE trio facing charges of animal cruelty of two huskies have been arrested for not showing up to their court hearing this morning at the Gladstone Magistrates Court.

Hollie Belinda Cornwell, Sean Joseph Heineger-Finley and Shane Richard Heineger were arrested at their south Gladstone home 10 minutes after the warrant had been issued.

There was almost 20 protesters outside the courthouse, including Misty the husky, one of the dogs which was allegedly mistreated.

Earlier:

THE two men and woman facing charges for allegedly starving and mistreating two huskies did not appear at their Gladstone Magistrates Court hearing today.

The Gladstone Police have located one of the men, and he is currently in the Gladstone Watch House.

There is a warrant for arrest for the two others facing the charges.

The men were charged with animal cruelty in 2013.
