Curly-tail cuteness all set to race at Show

THEY are fast, cute and make for great entertainment as they madly navigate their way through a maze of obstacles searching for that pot of gold.

In this case the pot of gold is a bucket of milk, the racers are little piglets and you can see them at this year's Show Whitsunday next weekend.

Neil Duddy's little champions are sure to draw a crowd at this year's local show, just like they have been doing all over Queensland for the last four years.

There is something strangely alluring about seeing baby pigs dressed in colourful jackets, jumping through tyres and around hay bales chasing a drink of milk.

Neil Duddy's pigs are not just ordinary pigs, they come from a long line of racing pigs, and the ones you will see at the weekend started their training at the age of six weeks and are now skilled little racers.

Mr Duddy said the end result was a real lucky dip, and it was anyone's guess as to which pig would take the chequered flag.

"It's the luck-of-the-draw as to which pig wins," he said.

"People get really excited".
