Daydream appoints new sales manager

WELL-known local Emma Scarrott has been appointed the new regional sales manager at Daydream Island Resort and Spa.

Ms Scarrott has worked on Daydream Island for nearly four years in a variety of roles, most recently as regional sales executive.

In her new role she will be responsible for driving regional sales for the resort and building relationships with key industry partners.

Daydream Island director of sales Grace Lassig said island management was delighted to appoint Ms Scarrott to this important role and be able to promote someone from within the team.

"She will be well placed to build upon her extensive regional sales experience and leverage relationships for the benefit of Daydream into the future," he said.

As for how Ms Scarrott feels about the promotion, it's obvious she loves living in the Whitsundays and working on Daydream Island.

"I love being able to promote a great resort in the beautiful region in which I live," she said

"The Whitsundays has so much to offer for visitors and locals alike and Daydream has become a very popular getaway for holidaymakers from throughout regional Queensland."

Ms Scarrott replaces previous regional sales manager Aimee Cameron, who has been promoted to guest services manager on Daydream Island.
