Disco lights up Whitsunday college

WHITSUNDAY Christian College held its primary disco on Thursday with prep to year six taking part.

The disco featured an hour and-a-half of music along with dancing and games.

Whitsunday Christian College head of primary Melissa Wales said it was the first one they'd had in years.

"It was good for the kids and the parents were invited to come along. A few parents did come and stay which was nice," she said.

Ms Wales said they'd look to hold them on a regular basis.

"The kids were enjoying it. We'll aim to have another before the end of the year," she said. Ms Wales said they'd even like to hold a disco once a term in the future.
