Drug and weapon charges for Cannonvale men
TWO Cannonvale men are facing drugs and weapons charges after Whitsunday Police searched an Eshelby Dr address on Thursday.
Police will allege items including a flick knife, a wallet insert knife, glass pipes, tablets, cannabis, a vial allegedly containing melanotan and a number of identification cards were uncovered.
In the wake of the discovery, a 19-year-old Cannonvale man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs, drug utensils and a category M weapon.
A 25-year-old Cannonvale man faces similar charges, with the addition of a second charge of possessing drug utensils.
Both men will appear in the Proserpine Magistrate's Court on Monday, May 9.
