Displays and competitions

WHAT would the show be without a display of sugar cane. All week growers have been bringing their cane to have the CCI tested at Sugar Services Proserpine but the judging will have to wait until the opening day of the show.

School and day care children have been busy too making their very own displays for the show on Friday and Saturday.

  • Cane exhibit: Just inside the main entrance, presentations at 2pm on Friday
  • Main Ring: Horse riding events, wood chop competition, Epic Darren, Eljay motorbike show
  • Poultry Pavilion: Poultry breeds on display
  • Dog Ring: Dog obedience and agility demonstration
  • Arts and Craft pavilion: Horticultural, arts and crafts displays
