Excitement builds for Bowen Cup

THE Race that stops the Whitsundays is just around the corner, and this year's Bowen Cup is shaping up to be massive.

With five local races that have already begun attracting interest from all over Queensland, including a Battle of the Bush race, and all the excitement and amazing fashion expected from Bowen Turf Club's feature race day of the year, punters will not be disappointed.

This year, the club will have three bars operating: the main bar, Brown Brothers pop-up wine bar, and a secondary beer bar alongside the bookmaker building.

There will be three delicious food vendors, regular main bar vendors, Let Us Eat, with tasty burgers, chips and more, Mr Whipsundays with yummy treats, and the famous Hun's Delight with specialty Hungarian langos and chimney cones.

TAB facilities, ATM, and bookmakers will also be available on site. The committee has also arranged a free jumping castle to keep the children entertained.

Bowen Turf Club and Brown Brothers Wine are co-hosting the Premium Race Day Marquee including catering by Meraki, a beer and wine package and more.

Luxe Fashion House will be co-ordinating and hosting an amazing Fashions on the Field event with multiple categories and prizes worth more than $5000.

Information on registering can be found on the Luxe Facebook page.

Please contact the club secretary bowenturfclub@bigpond.com for marquee site bookings or any other race day information.

Book tickets via Whitsunday Tickets.
