Fashion fair raises charity funds
THERE was fashion for every occasion on the catwalk at the St Vincent de Paul fashion parade on Saturday.
St Catherine’s Primary School was converted in to a high fashion house for the day where people bought front row seats to see the latest fashions available from St Vinnie’s in Proserpine.
The clothing ranged from casual wear to outfits perfect for a royal affair - some items even had the tags still on them.
More than $2000 was raised on the day with raffles and all sorts of fun and entertainment.
Jeni Borellini compered the day and did a fabulous job of selling the clothes hot off the run way.
The event is one of St Vincent de Paul Proserpine’s biggest annual fundraisers and all money raised will go towards the charity which offers a hand of help for those in need.
A large number of volunteers donate their time for the St Vincent de Paul society.
