Fashion TV for Frocktail event

THE Big4 Adventure Whitsunday Reef Festival's signature fashion event, Frocktails, just got even more glamorous, with confirmation this week that Pay TV's Fashion TV would be covering the event.

Event co-ordinator Clace Brady said she was thrilled to announce that the Whitsundays had taken a huge step up in the world of fashion.

“Attracting Fashion TV to the Frocktails event is a major coup for the Whitsundays as they have never attended an event outside of the major capital cities,” she said.

“The Whitsundays is a five star, stylish and trendy destination, and our local fashion houses stock some of Australia's best labels, so we are increasingly being seen as a fashion centre, particularly for summer beach fashions. “Frocktails has always been popular with local fashionistas, but the Fashion TV exposure will really put the Whitsundays on the shopping lists of top fashion identities,”

The Fashion TV cameras will be on hand throughout the event to feature both the runway and spectator fashions.

Frocktails will be at Waters Edge Resort at Déjà Vu Restaurant on Friday, October 22.

Tickets will be on sale in early October and always sell out quickly.

Due to popular demand, there will also be more corporate boxes for 10 people available this year.

Male models are also wanted for the event.
