Festival to put spring in step

WINTERMOON'S Springfest is fast approaching, marking a time to celebrate with music, art and soul.

The event offers a different experience to that of Wintermoon, providing a more laid back atmosphere with a focus on relaxation, involvement and fine music.

There will be a full program of workshops beginning from 4pm Friday September 1 and culminating in a short film festival on Sunday, September 3.

The workshop program has multiple options to suit all interests - ranging from music, dance, yoga, meditation, self sufficiency, art and much more.

All workshops are included with the festival entry ticket.

The second ticket round is still open with the discounted $140 price for pre booking available until the festival commences at the gate.

Camping at Springfest is also included in the festival ticket and campers can choose their camp area or camp with their cars.

Tent hire and meal package offers are new offers available this year.

The 2017 Springfest lineup features a mix of some phenomenal local and out of town acts to fill the daily music program.

The Karl S. Williams Band, The Floating Bridges Band and Mama Juju and the Jam Tarts will bring a lively vibe to Springfest after touring many festivals.

Local favourites including The Fat Cigars, Swoon and The Fontaines, who promise to delight their loyal fans.

Uke maestros Jack n Jel will be sharing their lively uke style all weekend and Sarah Collyer is among the talented soloists to feature at Springfest 2017.

Whether it is a day or weekend experience, Wintermoon Springfest will be a rejuvenating time and perfect opportunity to enjoy some fun in the picturesque creekside setting which draws devotees every year.
