WHY not have a flutter on the fillies at Ben Bolt Park this Saturday?
Yes, the Whitsunday Cup Race Day has rolled around again and Bowen Turf Club president Cyril Vains is looking forward to the day's races.
Gates open at 11am and the first of six races starts at 1.30pm.
Entry will set you back $10.
Mr Vains said the Whitsunday Cup was always a lovely winter's day out in Bowen.
"Come, enjoy country racing at its best in one of the best country race tracks in Queensland," he said, adding that the Turf Club puts on four races a year.
Food, drinks, TAB and bookmakers will be available on site on the day, so pull out your best frock, fascinator, or suit and tie and enjoy a day at the races.

WHEN: Saturday June 6. Gates open 11am, racing starts at 1.30pm.
