TRAVELLERS bound for Brisbane today can expect to have their schedules thrown into chaos as thick fog causes flight delays and cancellations.
About 20 flights have already been delayed, including flights due to arrive from Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Mackay.
Flights from Brisbane to Moranbah, Rockhampton, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and Canberra have also been delayed.
A Qantas flight from Hervey Bay has been cancelled as are various flights from Roma and Sydney.
The delays and cancellations could have knock-on effects for all flights to and from the Queensland capital today.
Check with Brisbane Airport or your local airport for information
In Brisbane itself, some ferries and CityCats have been cancelled as the fog keeps commuters from seeing further than a few hundred metres.
Expect changes, delays or cancellations on the CityCats, CityHopper, Eagle St to Thornton St ferry and Norman Park to New Farm park ferry.
Brisbane Times reports that the fog should life from "9am to mid to late morning once the sun comes up".
TransLink trains are running as normal.
FOR BRISBANE COMMUTERS:
