Foreshore redevelopment proposal ‘make or break’ for Yeppoon
CONCERNED Yeppoon resident John McGrath believes the foreshore development will make or break his town.

In yesterday's Morning Bulletin it was reported that concerns were raised by local members of the public about the lack of community awareness and input surrounding the plans for the amphitheatre.
John said he shared these concerns and just wanted what was best for the people who used the beachfront daily.
"If the council want the best foreshore, they have to engage with the community and decide in a transparent way so the best design can come out of it," he said.
"We all want the foreshore development 100% but it's got to be in a way where the community's involved and at the moment I, along with many others, were horrified to see an artist's impression that resembled a shed structure in that prime spot.
"Our two major concerns were the lack of community engagement and the lack of awareness by the council.
"Due to huge community out-cry, a more updated impression has been designed but the community really need to start being engaged with. There's a difference between a consultation and engagement."
