Fourth term sees Eagles slump

FOLLOWING a weekend of wins in the junior grades, the Whitsunday Sea Eagles took to the pitch full of fire this afternoon.

Going up against the Moranbah Bulldogs, the home side put in an impressive three quarters to see them trailing the visitors by just three points.

Things began to go down hill once the siren sounded on the final term however, with Moranbah scoring a few quick goals.

It wasn't to be all the Bulldogs' way though, with Luke McCaul sending one down the middle from a set shot.

At the final siren Whitsunday trailed the visitors by 34, but a last minute free kick and 50m penalty saw Moranbah record another six from the goal line.

The final score was 4.4.28 to 11.2.68.
