Frames galore as Lenny can ‘do it all’

WHITSUNDAY Picture Framing and Gallery can truly handle all of your framing needs.

But it isn't just frames they can handle; with their services ranging from being a memorabilia retailer to everything custom framing and repairs, to glass cutting, framer's acrylics, conservation museum standard framing, and photo and canvas printing.

They can do everything in store from a picture design, edit, print and frame - all at the one place.

Lenny Morris said his custom picture framing was of the highest quality.

"I can frame to add a custom design that makes the piece stand-out from the factory releases," he said.

"I only use good quality timber framing. People can bring in their artworks, photos or items and I'll do my best to design something unique."

For businesses and organisations, they can also add logos and frames.

Lenny also stocks memorabilia and can take order requests with the shop currently stocking a range of Cowboys premiership memorabilia, a signed 1996 North Melbourne premiership jersey and a commemorative Peter Brock Bathurst item.

Lenny and his wife Liz also travel the world to expand their knowledge and will be headed to the Art and Frame Expo in Las Vegas early next year.

For the more high-end range, they even offer Bellini fine moulding.

"Each Bellini moulding is individually sculpted utilising techniques unchanged for centuries, delivering a product of utmost beauty," Lenny said.

However, while they offer frames ranging from $100 to $4000, Lenny said they catered for all tastes.

"Some of my favourite clients are little ol' grannies who come off of the street that have a handkerchief to frame. I love those jobs as well," he said.

"We cater to everyone and the options are endless."

To ensure a fair price, they employ an Australian pricing software system that gives them accurate quotes in line with the rest of the industry.

Now in its fourth year, the shop has moved to their home at 99 Shute Harbour Rd, Cannonvale. Having moved the family from Canberra four years ago, where Lenny and Liz also ran a framing shop, Lenny said the decision was meant to be.

"The community here is fantastic," he said.

Lenny said his aim was simple - to achieve the highest quality and service to Whitsunday locals.

"We offer a good service and do a good job - that's my motto."
