Fresh seafood and river city views

QUAYS Restaurant is bringing back its Friday and Saturday night seafood buffet for a limited time only.

Offering a bird's eye view of the Brisbane River and South Bank Cultural Precinct, Mercure's extravagant seafood buffet features a range of fresh seafood including Mooloolaba king prawns, Balmain bugs, freshly-shucked rock oysters and New Zealand mussels, available from November 4 until December 16, 2011.

A selection of salads and condiments and hot and cold chef's selection dishes are also available.

To finish off, a dessert station featuring a scrumptious selection of petite desserts, a seasonal fruit platter and rich chocolate mousse provides a sweet end to the buffet.

Situated on level two of Accor's Mercure Hotel on North Quay the restaurant is open from 5.30pm until 9.30pm. Guests can enjoy a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap in the hotels contemporary Quays Bar, which has become a modern and sophisticated gathering point for guests, CBD workers and city residents.

Mercure hotel guests also have the opportunity to experience some of the state's finest wines with the Mercure Grand Vins, a wine list dedicated to showcasing some of Queensland's signature wines.
