Fresh taste of ‘Bait to plate’

VISITORS to the Whitsunday Reef Festival can go on a "culinary journey" on Sunday, August 7, thanks to local seafood restaurant Fish D'Vine.

From Bait to Plate is a gastronomic experience where diners can learn the secrets of the region's famous local fish varieties, and the not-so-well known.

Learn how, when and where they are caught, how to handle, prepare and cook them, all while feasting on a seven-course lunch of our wonderful local fish with matching wines and a great rum cocktail (to honour the local canefields).

The interactive lunch gives those wanting an "up close and personal" experience an opportunity to work side-by-side with the chefs and fishmongers, or just kick back and enjoy the seafood showcase of the Whitsundays on a plate.

Phone 4948 0088 for more information or go to fishdvine.com.au. Bookings are essential.
