RETURNING FIGHTER: Whitsunday MMA’s Blair Frew.

Frew will be no stranger on Fight Night

FREW is no stranger to the Airlie Fight Night arena having made his MMA debut a couple of years ago.

Since then, he has fought on other local shows such as Carnage In The Cage, however Frew admits "Nothing compares to the buzz you get from the home crowd". "You get motivated and pushed to fight harder," he said.

Frew is one of the senior members of Whitsunday Martial Arts and leads from the front.

Whitsunday MMA coach Dan Zealand praises Frew when it comes to his commitment in the gym.

"He continues to push his boundaries and lift his skillset. As a coach this what you want to see," he said.

"Blair is always looking to improve his conditioning and MMA game during every training camp."

Frew has shown in previous fights he has the determination and heart to battle through adversity.

This was displayed during a three round battle on Carnage in the Cage.
